Mediation

I believe that people need to be listened to – not through a tick box approach, but with real attention to their perspective. In most conflicts or friction there is a practical way forwards that brings people closer together, once viewpoints are really understood and reframed.

I have worked with leadership teams, or within teams where communications have broken down, sometimes on a singular issue, frequently across multiple people and subjects. I am straightforward, able to tackle difficult conversations head on and help individuals see a way forward together as a team.

Independent Chair

I act as an independent chair to commercial and charitable organisations. From complex grievance cases to appeals against redundancy and dismissal. When organisations need a truly independent and reliable lead I provide clear investigation, fair scrutiny of process and a well- reasoned outcome.

Quick to learn, I can allow the space for everyone’s point of view to be heard, provide clear investigation, drawing on my years of running large national teams.

I deliver this work as an associate of ‘HR – Your Business Matters’, drawing on technical advice where needed, and allowing access to all necessary legal employer business partners.

Mentoring
I have supported many individuals over the years, typically those in middle to senior management roles. Approaching each person’s support in an entirely bespoke way, I work in six session blocks. To keep costs down, I can work online, or indeed if preferable in a face-to-face relaxed way. As you will see from the selection of testimonials from Mentee to Line Manager, my focus is straightforward and practical - I help people identify where they see their challenges, tackle those directly, and most importantly leave with actions they can take immediately.

Leadership Development

​People Challenges often trace back to leadership. I work collaboratively with senior leaders, avoiding theory heavy models, concentrating on straightforward clarity and action. 
Through working both individually and alongside open honest group work, means that we make progress quickly.
 

Bespoke Project Work
